‘Queen’, the latest single from Idaho-native, New Orleans-dwelling Queen Bonobo was released in April 2023 and its the first we’ve heard from our favourite marsupial monarch since her 2021 three-track extended play ‘Sail From This Life’. Those who already know Maya’s style and previous output will agree that this new offering is exciting and adventurous as ever. If this is your first encounter with Queen Bonobo, we implore you to give her debut album a good listen – ‘Light, Shadow, Boom Boom’ is a masterful display of engaging writing, innovative instrumentation and a tasteful disregard for the ordinary.

This year, with the help of long-time Queen Bonobo member Jack Kelly on bass and Dan Fields on percussion, the trio births a new collection of Maya Goldblum originals – ‘Regal AF’, the aptly titled new EP will be released on the summer solstice.
